Martha routinely ends her television shows with a segment called “Martha’s Must Haves”.  Things that Martha cannot live without.  And on the January 6, 2009 episode of Martha Stewart she featured four skin care products of famed skin care expert Mario Badescu:

1.    Mario Badescu’s Special Handcream with Vitamin E was the product that Martha featured on her show.  It her absolute FAVORITE handcream.  I have tried this handcream as well, and it is absolutely wonderful!!  Especially in the winter when we all experience dry, cracked skin, especially on our hands, which are always exposed to the elements.  Mario’s Handcream is wonderful!!

This has been one of Mario’s best selling products for years!!  It is a non-greasy, light as air product that is immediately absorbed into the skin when applied.  It is great for all skin types.  And best of all, it is very reasonably priced….$8.00 for 4 oz. or $14.00 for 8 oz.
2.    Mario Badescu’s AHA Body Soap is another favorite of Martha’s, and for good reason.  AHA is short for Alpha Hydroxy Acid and is an ingredient found in many anti aging, especially those of Mario Badescu, because they penetrate the skin’s surface to help combat and reverse the signs of aging.

Mario’s AHA body soap has a wondereful combination of papaya and grapefruit extracts, ginseng extracts and oat proteins.  These ingredients work to:
  • Break down dead skin cells to make the skin look fresh, and give it that “fresh from the spa” glow.
  • Rejuvinate the skin and leave it feeling soft and smooth to the touch.
  • Relieve sensitive or irritated areas, perfect for the winter months.

4. Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater is a wonderful pick-me-up anytime you feel drab, or your skin feels dry and tight.  I keep a bottle in my desk at the office in a spray bottle, and spritz a little on my face every day around 3:00, or after a stressful meeting or phone call.  Mario’s facial spray provides a great boost to both your compexion and attitude.  The herb combination and rosewater fragrance act as a relaxing aromatherapy to help make the day just a bit easier.  You can pick up an 8oz. bottle for only $10.00 or a 16oz. bottle for $18.00.
